Kenya National Ski Team
The Kenya National Ski Team has been activated for Sabrina Wanjiku SIMADER, the first alpine ski racer from Kenya on top level. Born in Kenya in 1998 the young lady moved to Austria with her mother in the age of 3. Her stepfather operated a ski-lift and young Sabrina started skiing. Following the first successes in local children races she attended the secondary school in Schladming that provides a specific focus on children talented in winter sports. Being already triple school champion in the Austrian province of Styria the career of Sabrina Wanjiku Simader led to various unique highlights: being the first Kenyan alpine ski racer that participated in a World Cup race (Maribor, January 2017), that qualified for Alpine Ski World Championships (St. Moritz, February 2017) and Olympic Winter Games (PeongChang, February 2018). Klaus Tritscher, Managing Director of EnTri Consulting, took over the management of Sabrina Wanjiku SIMADER in May 2017 and is very proud that the determined young athlete received the "African European Sports Woman of the year" award in Berlin, in October 2017.
