Visit from SENEGAL at EnTri Consulting

His excellency Ali Ngouille NDIAYE, the Senegalese Minister for Energy and Mining, headed a ten-person delegation consisting of representatives of his Ministry, the Rural Electrification Authority, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Agency for Investment promotion and major projects, as well as the Senegalese Embassy in Brussels for a working visit on May 2nd and 3rd, 2013 in Vienna.
EnTri Consulting had the honour to provide significant contributions to the organization of the official meetings – especially in view of financing of renewable energy projects. Following an exchange of ideas with the Austrian State Secretary of Finance Mag. Schieder also high ranking officials of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management have been met, followed by meetings with the Austrian Kontrollbank (OeKB), Austrian Development Bank (OeEB) and Austrian Development Agency (ADA) on May 2nd. After a further meeting with a commercial bank the Senegalese delegation visited the ”House of the European Union” in Vienna, where it was given a warm welcome by the Deputy Head of the Representation of the European Commission Dirk Fassbender and the Head of the Political Department Johannes Sollgruber. A full-day workshop regarding “Financing of Rural Electrification Projects” was held at EnTri Consulting’s premises on May 3rd completed the visit of the Senegalese delegation in Austria.
The further cooperation in the sector of financing of renewable energy projects was coordinated. A return visit is in preparation.
