Swedish grant for safe drinking water in rural Kenya with solar water disinfection and WADI

At the beginning of 2017 EnTri Consulting was mandated by the Austrian company HELIOZ (creator of the innovative solar-powered UV-measurement device “WADI”) and its local consortium partner Kenya Water and Health Organization (KWAHO) to assist in the planning phase of the joint market activities. Major content of EnTri’s assignment was the (successful) grant application at the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, the conduction of 2 stakeholder workshops in Kisumu and support in the documentation and reporting activities.

In December 2017 the planning phase has been completed. The parties agreed to continue the fruitful cooperation also in the upcoming implementation phase.
